Education, not diagnosis
Website information, journal articles, the Prakriti assessment and BMI calculator are intended for general education. They do not replace a consultation, physical examination, diagnosis or personalized treatment plan.
Ayurvedic care and safety
Evidence varies across Ayurvedic interventions. Herbal products and therapies can cause adverse effects or interact with medicines. Some Ayurvedic products may contain potentially harmful metals. Discuss the proposed product, its quality and its risks with a qualified clinician.
Continue coordinated medical care
Do not stop prescribed medicines or delay appropriate medical care based on this site or an online tool. Tell your clinician about all supplements, herbs and therapies you use. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, acute illness and existing conditions may affect suitability.
Therapies need assessment
Panchakarma is not suitable for everyone. Nasal administration and purgation should never be attempted from online instructions. The hospital must assess, explain and supervise any appropriate procedure.
Emergencies
For severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of stroke, severe bleeding, fainting or another emergency, seek immediate emergency medical services or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for a website or WhatsApp reply.
